MovingLife's Stakeholder Conference on 18 April 2013 was a success with stakeholders from various domains who participated actively in the discussions following the presentations by external experts. The many points, comments and recommendations are currently being integrated into the consolidated roadmap and a report will be published shortly on the website presenting the recommendations and an action plan for the future widespread use of mHealth.
The workshop report, D4.4 Stakeholder Conference, and presentations from the conference will be available for download here on the website shortly.
MovingLife’s consortium would like to thank all participants for their contribution to the success of the Stakeholder Conference.
The MovingLife project is committed to involve and interact with different stakeholders in order to gain from their unique knowledge and experiences. One of the main objectives of MovingLife’s Stakeholder Conference was therefore precisely to allow stakeholders to voice their perspectives and opinions.
Participants in the conference represented legal and policy entities, academia, industry (technology providers and developers), patient organisation, and health organisations from many different countries. In addition, the European Commission was represented by Peteris Zilgalvis, Head of Unit, ICT for Health, Directorate - ICT addressing Social Challenges, Information Society and Media Directorate General (INFSO) and MovingLife’s Project Officer, Jaakko Aarnio.
More information about the objectives and the programme for the conference can be found here.
The MovingLife project ends on 30 April 2013. The project website will continue to be accessible.
