The MovingLife consortium consists of 6 organisations from five different countries representing partners that all have a leading position in their respective fields.

logo Atos is an international information technology services company. Its business is turning client vision into results through the application of consulting, systems integration and managed operations. The company’s annual revenues are more than EUR 5 billion and it employs over 46,000 people in 40 countries.

Atos Research is the Spanish branch of this leader European IT services Company and a founding member of the European Technology Platform NESSI (Networked European Software and Services Initiative). Atos Research & Innovation, ARI, the node of R&D of Atos in Spain, is focused in projects which combine the most advanced technological developments and the economic exploitation of results in R&D. Our aim is to lead our knowledge and experience acquired to concrete projects with clients.

The Biotechnologies & Healthcare Unit within ARI is composed of a group of engineers, biologists, bioinformaticians, mathematicians, and doctors specialised in applied research and development of bio and health related projects. Our unit participates in several European and Spanish projects. The Unit’s expertise is supported by its involvement in different European projects, and also supported by their professional careers in technical divisions of other companies.

Atos also participates in other technology platforms like the European and Spanish platform of Nanomedicine, eMOV for mobility, eSEC for security, PROMETEO for embedded systems, INÉS for software and services.


logo Innova SpA is a company established in 1993 which is specialised in Technology Transfer services and has established ventures in Europe and the US.

Innova assists industrial and research organisations in the implementation of their innovation strategies for the assessment and exploitation of advanced technologies and the valorisation of R&D results. It is made up of a pool of 40 professional consultants and experts who have developed a long standing and consolidated knowledge in the R&D and marketing activities conducted with highly qualified European companies and universities.


logo In-JeT ApS has been engaged as concept and technology developer in Pervasive Computing since 1998 and has extensive knowledge about wireless technologies, networks, Semantic Web Services, ontologies, and Knowledge Management. Since 2000. In-JeT has specifically been working with eBusiness and eHealth services in heterogeneous networks.

In-JeT has increasingly been incorporating socio-economic and cross-disciplinary research tasks in technology development and is working with sociologists and anthropologists to define boundary conditions and analyse and integrate ecosystems in technology development. We have also pioneered methodological techniques such as scenario thinking for deriving comprehensive user requirements.


logo Global Security Intelligence was founded in 2005, responding to a need both in the public and private sectors for a more holistic approach to security problems. In addition, GSI has extended its focus to address ambient technologies which may be used as enablers for individuals in a home or assisted living setting. In addition, GSI extends their network and the depth and breadth of knowledge by contributing to, and engaging with thought leaders, in international bodies committed to examining the impact of security on industry and society.

GSI also invests a significant portion of time to performing empirical research, publishing topics of more common interest to a web-based Research Centre


logo The Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) interdisciplinary Research Group on Law Science Technology & Society (LSTS) was founded in November 2003, and is devoted to analytical, theoretical and prospective research into the relationships between law, science, technology and society.


logo The Healthcare Innovation Centre, Capital Region of Denmark (Center for Sundhedsinnovation in Danish, i.e. CSI) is a knowledge and advisory centre in Capital Region of Denmark (Center for Sundhedsinnovation). CSI was established on 1 August 2009.

CSI is a strategic initiative that seeks to help improve quality and efficiency in the healthcare service. It helps to expand and disseminate the innovation work in progress in the Region’s 14 hospital units comprising 40.000 employees. The focus is on employees and patients in order to ensure there is innovation where improvements and renewal are most needed. Central to the work is the involvement of employees, patients, designers and the business community in development projects for products, services and types of organisation in order to ensure innovative thinking, quality and usability.

The Healthcare Innovation Centre is funded by the Regional Growth Forum of the Capital Region of Denmark as well as the hospitals of the region.
